I arrived at Amoeba at 7:30am, this morning, for the 9am opening of Record Store Day. I took one look at the line--wrapping around the block--and kept walking. I was surprised. The turnout for RSD in the last couple of years seemed to be weakening. Well, it has now rebounded to pre-ChiVi levels. I am happy to see the robust turnout. I just decided that, for me, the titles I wanted weren't quite worth the wait--especially if I can (maybe) buy them online tomorrow.
