trench coat

I, long ago, successfully infiltrated World War II to liberate a trench coat. I wrapped myself in a moonless night without stars. And I've lived there for decades. My forefathers saved me from life in Europe. But I fail to save successive generations from life in North America.

Time is running out. I wish to get gone. Before it's too late.

A little farther north. A little farther west. And then a lot farther north. I won't stop, until I reach a paradise too cold and too dark for the rest of you to follow.
