silver lights

I photograph an astronomer crossing the business park and entering an unmarked office in the afternoon. I record measurements of sun-to-noise. I am tracked by crisp, blue suits of invisible drowning. I try not to talk too much when I meet physics students for Thai food. I secretly envy their campus life in summer, white boards full of equations in empty dorm rooms and campus apartments. I lost all of you somewhere in the hills--somewhere between the hills at dusk and a hopefully infinite sky.
