1. The pretty Japanese lady came into the mailroom to pick up supplies, this morning. She is such a sweet thing. Again we ended up chatting about cannibalism.

2. This planet got a little more dreary with the passing of Ray Bradbury. I wish I could've had a childhood summer like the one he described in "Dandelion Wine". And a Halloween like he wrote about in "The Halloween Tree". And a visit to a carnival on a windy October night like the one in "Something Wicked This Way Comes." 2012 continues to be a cruel year. I guess I will try to comfort myself and re-read "Dandelion Wine" sometime this summer.
