I walked through the rain and found a new place to get sick and die. But, instead of dying, I turned on the lights and hooked up my stereo. There's no one in my life but some trace of strangers who created these cd's, lp's, and paperbacks I gather around me. Life is less lonely, now that everyone is gone for good.
