losing everyone in all directions
I finally received my invitation today. R. must've botched my address on the first batch she sent out over a month ago. Or maybe it just got lost in the mail. The one I received today was postmarked two days ago.
As it turns out, I'm not invited to the wedding--just to the reception. The Mormons have some sort of rule about filthy non-Mormons not being allowed to attend their wedding ceremonies. It doesn't matter. I don't want to go anway.
A very nice picture of R. and her fiance was included with the invitation. She looks so pretty. It's the only picture I have of her. It hurts me to look at it. So I put it away.
I miss talking with her. I hope she doesn't call.
