wall without expression

My sense of humor is a mushroom cloud rising from a landscape of private terror, frustration, and hopelessness. This is why I don't smile when I'm "joking." I hear that all the time: people can't tell if I'm serious or just joking. What they don't understand is that I am being very serious when I am joking.
