I donate my reflection to the mirror, my shadow to the floor. I hum along with the ceiling fan. I nap in an empty cubicle. Someone outside is making a meal of the sun. I go out there, wondering why it takes so long for these streets to re-arrange themselves. Men in Colma are digging holes as fast they can.
