I drink alone and walk alone through peach-colored storms. When I am facedown and dead, the coroner will arrive to collect my poems. Every violation of language will be subjected to autopsy. There is no way out that keeps the breath intact. All I want is a blanket and pillow, when small towns light up at dusk.
