black telephone

I fear the black telephone looming in the corner of the room. Dust fails to soften the edges. I don't want to hear him dying in the telephone. But he's in there. Somewhere. When he is gone, I will put on a black suit. I will unplug the telephone and carry it into the wind. And bury it in one of the far fields.
