R. is getting married in November. She invited me to the wedding. But I don't think I'll go. I withdraw. She keeps leaving messages on my answering machine. I am pushing her away. Before she goes away.
No more late-night phone talks. And they meant so much to me.
I hope she's not hurt by my withdrawl. If she is, I'm sure she'll get over it before I do. Soon she'll have a husband.
And I'll have no one.
