lullaby-bye

I think it's so cute the way R. calls me late at night, after she's tucked herself into bed, and falls asleep while I'm talking to her. I like to think that it's because my voice is so soothing rather than me boring her. Tonight, I was singing a little improvised lullaby to her after I was pretty sure she was asleep. When there was no response, I smiled and hung up the phone.
